3D Modeling Pipeline
by Erica :)
To take you through my 3D modeling pipeline from ideation to full render, I decided to make a fan gun skin for VALORANT. This demonstrates my ability to execute my ideas and take them through each stage of the design process. I am able to think like a designer and artist in one and can be self sufficient or fit in any place along the design pipeline.
I made a gun skin to show off my personality and what I'd like to see as a member of the VALORANT community. Being a woman is a huge part of my gamer identity so I wanted to make a fun cute skin to reflect that. Birthday Cake and Funfetti is my favorite scent/flavor and I will buy practically anything of that theme! I created my "dream skin" that I would buy instantly if it were in my VALORANT shop. :)

Project Work
My process usually involves searching up related images on Pinterest and finding a colour scheme on Coolors. I then draw the flat colours where I want to place them on the models so I can get a good visualization. I also like to work out details in 2D before I get into actually modeling and texturing my work!
